Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Water/Wastewater Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and managing projects related to water/wastewater street, drainage infrastructure project review and MUD oversight, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards, and contributing to sustainable land development practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop water and wastewater systems including treatment plants, pipelines, and drainage systems.
Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for water and wastewater projects.
Prepare technical reports, design documents, and construction plans.
Ensure compliance with TCEQ and other regulatory requirements during project execution.
Assist in bidding and procurement processes for construction contracts.
Monitor construction activities to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
Minimum of 5 years experience in water and wastewater engineering.
Strong knowledge of Civil Engineering principles and practices.
Experience in project management and land development.
Familiarity with TCEQ regulations and standards.
Water district/MUD project oversight experience.
