Position Overview
The Tax Manager will oversee tax compliance and planning for the organization, ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations. This role involves managing tax-related projects, providing strategic advice, and leading a team to support corporate and individual tax requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of corporate and individual income tax returns.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and IRS guidelines.
  • Provide strategic tax planning and advice to minimize tax liabilities and optimize tax positions.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis to assess tax implications of business decisions.
  • Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations regarding tax positions.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance and planning, with a focus on corporate and individual tax.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws, IRS regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in tax software and financial analysis tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and detail-oriented approach.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to interpret complex tax regulations.
  • Exceptional communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration.
