Position: Tax Manager
Salary: $100,000 - $150,000

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Tax Manager to join our team in San Diego, California. For nearly 40 years, we've been committed to providing exceptional tax and accounting services while fostering professional growth, client success, and community connection.
As a Tax Manager, you'll lead with expertise, mentor your team, and manage a portfolio of diverse clients, ensuring their tax strategies align with their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
Build and strengthen client relationships with a deep understanding of their industries and unique needs.
Prepare internal memoranda, correspondence, and guidance for submission to tax authorities.
Provide technical training and participate in staff mentorship programs.
Oversee performance and professional development of team members.
Manage multiple client engagements, budgets, and productivity goals.
Contribute to practice development and business growth initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA required.
At least 5 years of experience in tax with proven leadership capabilities.
Strong technical knowledge of tax regulations and compliance standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities and mentor a team effectively.
