Sr. Enclosure Consultant

Position Overview
The Sr. Enclosure Consultant will lead and manage projects focused on building enclosure systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards while optimizing thermal performance and energy efficiency. This role requires expertise in structural engineering and fenestration, with a strong emphasis on client relations and project management.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and analysis of building enclosure systems including walls, roofs, and fenestration components.
Conduct structural engineering assessments and ensure compliance with relevant building codes and standards.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to develop and implement effective enclosure solutions.
Review project documentation and provide technical specifications for enclosure systems.
Evaluate thermal performance and energy efficiency of building enclosure designs.
Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring that objectives are met within scope.
Prepare construction documentation and assist in the bid process.
Provide guidance on material selection and sustainability practices.
Assist in cost estimation and financial planning for projects.
Maintain strong client relationships and communicate project progress effectively.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in building enclosure consulting or related areas.
Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and fenestration systems.
Familiarity with building codes and compliance standards.
Experience in thermal performance analysis and energy efficiency strategies.
Proficiency in CAD software for design and documentation.
Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and client relations skills.
Knowledge of HVAC systems and sustainable design practices is a plus.
Experience with cost estimation and budget management.
