A premier San Diego-based law firm with a national reputation in securities, finance, and complex business litigation and transactions is actively seeking a Lateral Partner with a portable book of business to join its elite team. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned litigator or advisor to take on a leadership role within a sophisticated, high-quality legal practice serving prominent financial institutions, investment firms, and international clients.

An established attorney with a portable book of business in securities litigation, financial services law, or complex commercial litigation/transactions.
Proven success managing high-stakes litigation or advisory matters from inception through resolution.
A strong network of institutional or financial services clients, such as broker-dealers, investment advisers, hedge funds, or private equity firms.
Ability to operate with autonomy while collaborating within a team-focused, quality-first legal environment.
Experience in FINRA arbitration, federal securities claims, business torts, corporate governance disputes, or transactional matters is highly valued.

J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in the California Bar.
Minimum of 8-10 years' experience, including first-chair or lead counsel roles in complex matters.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
Strong legal writing, strategic thinking, and oral advocacy skills.
A portable practice that aligns with our firm's strengths in securities, finance, and commercial law.
