MEP Design Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled MEP Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in various construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and design MEP systems including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing layouts
Utilize Revit and CAD software to create detailed design drawings
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure integrated design solutions
Conduct system calculations and analyses to support design decisions
Assist in the preparation of project specifications and documentation
Review and approve shop drawings and submittals
Ensure designs comply with local codes and regulations
Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
EIT certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in MEP design
Proficiency in Revit and CAD software
Strong understanding of MEP systems and standards
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
