Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Superintendent to oversee construction projects in the heavy civil sector. This role involves managing all aspects of construction operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and supervise construction activities on heavy civil projects including highways, utilities, and sewage systems.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and municipal requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and safety compliance.
Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
Lead a team of construction workers, providing guidance and support to ensure productivity and efficiency.
Maintain high standards of health and safety on the job site, addressing any issues immediately.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction supervision
Proven leadership on DOT, municipal, or large-scale infrastructure projects
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage teams effectively.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
