Civil Engineering Group Manager
Location: Silver Spring, MD, Philadelphia, PA or Pittsburgh, PA

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineering Group Manager to lead our engineering team. The ideal candidate will oversee civil engineering projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards of quality. As a leader, you will be responsible for mentoring junior engineers and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of civil engineers on various projects.
Oversee project planning, design, and execution, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure project objectives are met.
Conduct and review engineering analyses and design for roadway, highway, and multimodal transportation projects.
Utilize 3D modeling and CADD software to create detailed design plans.
Manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring successful project completion.
Mentor and train junior engineers, providing guidance on technical and professional development.
Stay updated on the latest civil engineering practices, technologies, and regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on transportation and roadway design.
Proven experience in project management, with strong organizational and leadership skills.
Expertise in geometric design, utility coordination, and right-of-way acquisition.
Proficient in CADD software and 3D modeling tools, particularly Inroads.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
