Automation Technician

Position Overview
The Automation Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated systems in a manufacturing environment. The primary objective of this role is to ensure high levels of efficiency and reliability in automated processes, contributing to overall production goals.

Key Responsibilities

Install and configure PLCs and automation systems across various production lines.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automated equipment and processes in a timely manner.
Conduct regular maintenance checks and update firmware/software for PLCs and robotic systems.
Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize automation processes and improve system performance.
Document all maintenance activities, changes, and system improvements to maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Automation Technology or related field.
Proven experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
Basic knowledge of robotic systems is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
