Job Title: Account Manager - General Lighting
Location: Detroit, MI (Hybrid - 2 days in office) + TRAVEL
Salary: $90-115k/year + 10% performance bonus + full benefits
Requirements: Technical Sales/Account Management experience in the Lighting or LED industry, Bachelor's degree

We're currently hiring Account Managers to join our team and drive sales growth by identifying opportunities, engaging potential customers, and managing existing accounts to maintain our market share. You will build strong relationships, present tailored solutions, and promote our products while negotiating pricing and terms to secure successful deals.

*Both openings require TRAVEL (60% or 90%) across the United States and occasional travel to Canada and Mexico.
*We CAN relocate!

What you will be doing:

- Maintain comprehensive expertise in product offerings, application requirements, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Identify and capitalize on new customer opportunities and emerging market potential.
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients while continuously expanding the customer base.
- Gain deep insight into customer objectives and needs to effectively align company products and services.
- Ensure prompt resolution of outstanding issues to maintain smooth operations.
- Attain expert-level knowledge of Nichia products and confidently promote offerings to clients.
- Deliver compelling and impactful presentations.
- Consistently meet or surpass sales targets.
- Create and present engaging proposals to drive successful outcomes.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of quotations and generate detailed trip reports.
- Represent the company at trade shows and conferences with managerial approval.
- Conduct frequent customer site visits to showcase products in person.

What you need:

- Bachelors Degree
- Technical Sales experience in the lighting or LED industry
