Key Responsibilities:
- Assumes the responsibility for the smooth flow of tax returns.
- Delegates work, supervise seniors and tax staff, provide feedback to them, and evaluate their progress.
- Acts as director-in-charge for personal and business clients.
- Acts as a key client contact person for various engagements.
- Prepares the most complex tax returns.
- Approves all returns with the exception of those dealing with specialized issues that require the expertise of another firm professional.
- Acts as a resource for tax staff, senior tax accountants, and tax supervisors.
- Prepares projections and becomes involved in planning for more complex clients.
- Becomes involved in tax planning for client situations of varying levels of complexity.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 - 5+ year of experience as a Tax Manager
- Four or more years of full-time experience in accounting or tax return preparation.
- CPA certification
- Experience in Construction, Medical, and Real Estate experience (others will work as well)
