We are looking for talented Senior Planner/Designers to join our team as we continue to grow and expand.
Position Overview:
The Senior Planner/Urban Designer will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of land planning, master planning, and urban design projects. This role requires a strong background in landscape architecture, architecture, planning, and urban design, as well as experience in residential and physical land planning. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage and mentor a team of junior planners and designers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage land planning, master planning, and urban design projects from conception to completion.- Conduct site analyses and develop recommendations for land use and design.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and government officials to understand project needs and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Oversee the preparation of project proposals, presentations, and reports.
- Mentor and manage junior planners and designers, providing guidance and fostering their professional development.
- Monitor project budgets and timelines to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to land planning, master planning, and urban design.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Planning, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in land planning, master planning, and urban design.
- Strong knowledge of land use regulations, zoning codes, and environmental regulations.
- Proven experience in managing and leading projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.- Knowledge of sustainable design principles is a plus.
