Sales Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-centric B2B Sales Manager to lead our sales team. The ideal candidate will have have strong experience developing a team -- understanding how to evaluate team members and push them towards success. This person should have experience with long timelines and large budget projects in the manufacturing space (1 to 2 year projects with 1-3M budget) -- Engineered to Order is a huge plus. This person will look at each project with an analytical lens and have a deep understanding of how to improve projects, improve customer intake and satisfaction, improve product recommendations for customer needs, and increase profitability project over project.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor the sales team to enhance performance and productivity
Analyze each project/sales cycle for opportunities to improve
Run project debrief meetings with sales team -- coaching on improvements
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company goals
Review purchase agreements and contracts

Qualifications

5+ years of experience leading and developing a team
Proven track record of developing, mentoring and inspiring a team
Be hungry and curious regarding customer needs and problems
Be analytical and detail oriented -- No two projects are the same so each customer has unique problems to solve with unique ways to improve our process and products
In-depth knowledge of sales and marketing principles, along with manufacturing processes
Having a background in Product, Engineering or Marketing is a huge plus
