If you are a Manager of Supply Chain projects, processes and teams, in a manufacturing setting, we have a role open at this time for a Senior leader in the S&OP space.
This Supply Chain Superintendent will oversee all supply chain functions, for MULTIPLE PLANT LOCATIONS where the production of various construction/building materials are being manufactured and your role will oversee Production Planning, Inventory Control, Procurement, and Logistics teams and processes with the goa of improving productivity and efficiency, and ultimately reducing operating/sourcing costs while securing and maintaining the highest quality raw materials for the production needs of both TODAY and TOMORROW.
Please note:
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS - This role will include/require travel as much as 50%, with 25-30% on the average.
LOCATION OPTIONS - This role has the flexibility to be a Hybrid role, with onsite work to be based/located ideally in a number of locations, including:
1. Northern California - Napa/Fairfield/Vallejo area , Stockton/Lodi Central Valley area
2. Southern California - Corona, Riverside, Oceanside
3. Texas - West Houston, Katy area
4. Florida - Winter Haven/Lakeland and near Fort Pierce, FL
5. Pennsylvania - Near Gettysburg, PA area
This Sales and Operations Planning, Supply-Chain Manager will perform a NUMBER of duties on any given day...again, for multiple plant locations and some of the basic tasks will include:
Most importantly, your role is to lead the evaluation and creation the companys supply chain strategy and drive implementation, while directly leading the S&OP processes for the business including
You will work to perform monthly updates and reviews, evaluating and reporting on KPIs, analyzing data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues, constantly monitoring logistics to make sure operations run smoothly and uninterrupted, as well as making sure that the various plant sites/locations maintain the correct inventory levels of raw materials, and required goods.
This is a TEAM supervisor/Management role, where you will have reporting to you...Project Managers, Schedulers, Planners, Analysts, all within the umbrella of Supply Chain, inventory and productions operations planning.
Ideally qualified candidates will bring with them, to this role, as much of the following as possible:
* Educational Requirement - We are seeking those with a Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or similar field
* Experience Requirement - We would like to see SENIOR professionals with somewhere in the range of ten or more years of experience in supply chain management, with at least five/5 or more years of experience in managing teams of supply chain, planning and other team members, ALONG with processes and projects.
* Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes, effective practices working with vendors, working with logistics and supply chain project managements, and other S&OP, Sales and Operations Planning work.
* We need this person to be COMPUTER and TECHNOLOGY literate, so you absolutely MUST be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.). Advanced Level Excel preferred, and we are PREFERRING those candidates with a working experience of relevant Supply Chain/ERP/MRP software (i.e. JD Edwards, SAP, etc.)
* Proven team leadership, motivation, communication and management skills are a must as you will be leading teams of Production planners, Schedulers, and other supply-chain professionals.

This is a senior leadership role, and we are expecting to be offering an annual salary in the $100-130K salary range, depending on experience, and will also be compensated additionally by other package incentives, etc.
