Position: Product Design Specialist
Salary: $65,000 - $85,000

Due to recent growth and demand for our products, we are seeking an experienced and highly creative Product Design Specialist who has a strong passion for the creation of sophisticated color palettes in order to meet the demands of our customers and maintain our brand's high standards.
Position Overview:
The Product Design Specialist will play a key role in the development and design of new products for our company. This individual will work closely with the product development team to create innovative and visually appealing designs that meet the needs and expectations of our target market. The Product Design Specialist will also be responsible for conducting research, creating prototypes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful launch of new products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the product development team to define project goals, requirements, and timelines
- Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends to identify product opportunities
- Create sketches, renderings, and prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts
- Develop detailed product specifications and technical drawings for manufacturing
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and production, to ensure design feasibility and successful product launch
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and materials to continuously improve product design and innovation
- Participate in user testing and gather feedback to make necessary design revisions
- Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure product quality and timely delivery
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in product design, preferably in consumer goods or a related industry
- Proficient in design software such as Datacolor or X-Rite
- Strong understanding of color theory, trends, and matching techniques
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Portfolio showcasing previous product design work is required.
