Family Law Attorney
We are looking for an experienced and astute Family Law Attorney to join our legal team. The successful candidate must possess a Juris Doctor degree and some experience in Family Law. Expertise in Divorce, Attorney, and Esq. is preferred.
Position Overview
The Family Law Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice to clients, representing them in court, drafting legal documents, and researching legal issues. The successful candidate should have strong knowledge of Family Law and the relevant legislation as well as excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice on matters such as family law, divorce, adoption, and other related issues
- Draft legal documents such as separation agreements, marriage contracts, and divorce petitions
- Represent clients in court proceedings
- Research and analyze legal issues and prepare legal briefs and memorandums
- Negotiate settlements and draft settlements in a timely manner
- Communicate regularly with clients and update them on the progress of their case
- Stay abreast of changes in Family Law and relevant legislation
- Maintain a professional and ethical approach to clients and court proceedings
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Strong knowledge of Family Law and relevant legislation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure and remain organized
- Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of client information
For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
