Position Overview
As an Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately assessing the costs of the commercial and residential construction projects and providing reliable estimates to clients. Your goal will be to ensure that projects are completed within budget and on time, while meeting quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
• Analyze project specifications and drawings to identify potential cost-saving measures.
• Consult with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to understand project requirements and develop accurate estimates.
• Maintain and update a database of construction costs and pricing information.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure that estimates are aligned with project goals and timelines.
• Review and assess subcontractor bids and proposals to ensure that they meet project specifications and budget requirements.
• Provide guidance and support to junior estimators and other team members as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience working as an estimator in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of commercial construction, tenant improvement, hotel, hospital, healthcare construction, healthcare, restaurant, residential, and bar projects.
• Familiarity with construction software, including Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, and PlanSwift.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential cost-saving measures and develop accurate estimates.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
