Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician - Night Shift (Hours to be determined later)
Location: Oxford, NC 27565
Hourly: $28 - $32 / HR
Working Days: There is Shift A (Sunday - Wednesday) or Shift B (Wednesday - Saturday)
Founded in 1983 we are an international leader in thermal bond non-wovens (textile manufacturing). We have locations in Israel, Italy and the United States with this 140 employee facility in Oxford, NC. Some of the industries we cater to include hygenic & industrial market, nonwovens and baby/adult care. For our facility in Oxford we are targeting to hire a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician who can work nights to join our team.
What You Will Be Doing
Provide electrical maintenance support to all areas of production & facilities
Maintain, test & repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems incl: programmable controls, PC controls, power distribution, drives & test equipment
Troubleshoot, determine equipment malfunctions & restore to regular operation
Maintain performance & maintenance records
Perform preventive maintenance functions as needed
What You Need for this Position
5+ years of electrical maintenance technician experience in manufacturing
Understanding & experience w/ single phase & 3 phase systems
Ability to work w/voltages - AC up to 480V and DC up to 630V
Firm understanding of electrical drawings & communication devices i.e. distribution switches, Profibus, Ethernet, Patch panels etc
Building systems experience i.e. air handlers, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, house vacuum systems & fire alarms
Experience w/ mechanical items i.e. gearboxes, fans, cylinders and pneumatic / hydraulic systems
