We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience estimating electrical systems for industrial projects, including manufacturing plants, power generation facilities, refineries, and large-scale industrial installations. As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates that contribute to the success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities
-Analyze project drawings, specifications, and requirements to develop comprehensive electrical cost estimates.
-Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
-Identify material, labor, and equipment needs for industrial electrical installations.
-Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and bid proposals for industrial projects.
-Review and assess subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
-Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project walk-throughs to gather necessary information for accurate estimating.
-Stay current with industry trends, standards, and regulations to ensure estimates reflect up-to-date practices and pricing.
-Support the project team during the handover phase to ensure a smooth transition from estimation to execution.
Qualifications
-Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
-5+ years of experience as an Electrical Estimator, with a strong focus on industrial projects.
-In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes and estimating software
