Job Title: EIT Mechanical Engineer or Sr. PE Mechanical Engineer
Location: Herndon, VA
Salary: $85K - 125K + dependent on experience and licensure
Duties & Responsibilities: ME/SME: With minimum supervision from their supervisor, the ME/SME will directly perform field investigations, prepare designs and specifications as it relates to their discipline (HVAC, plumbing, fuel, and fire protection), and estimated costs. The ME/SME will also collaborate with other designers engaged in the preparation of drawings and specification documents; plan layout of project; prepare contract documents for building contractors; prepare scale drawings; integrate with architectural and other engineering elements into unified design; conduct periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plans
