Document Management: Implement and maintain document control processes and systems for the accurate management and storage of electronic and paper documents related to the project.
Revision Control: Ensureall project documents are kept in the right location and are accessible to all project teams and stakeholders. Control the retrieval of documents.
Quality Assurance: Check and maintainthe quality of documents, ensuringthey meet standards and project requirements.
Distribution and Tracking: Distribute project-related documents to internal teams and external stakeholders as required. Track the revision history of documents and ensure that current versions are accessible.
Compliance: Ensure all documentation complies with company standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Collaboration: Work closelywith project managers, engineers, contractors, and other team members to ensure documentation is accurate and up to date.
Reporting: Generate and maintain reports on the status of documents, revisions, and other relevant information for project management.
Provide training and support to project team members on document control processes and tools.
Proven experience in document control or a similar role, preferably within the construction or engineering sector.
Familiarity with construction documents and drawings.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work underpressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in document control software such as Project Sight, CMiC, Procore, or equivalent.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and guidelines related to document control
Experience working on industrial or construction projects.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management
