Job Salary: $75-115k (Potential for higher pay based on experience and interview)

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Engineer to design, develop, and enhance our turbine/engine repair and maintenance processes. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes and be adept at implementing innovative solutions to improve quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop aerospace components and systems
Conduct tooling design and troubleshooting
Maintain tool room equipment and ensure optimal functionality
Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to improve efficiency
Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess project performance
Utilize Quality Management Systems to ensure compliance with standards
Analyze data to inform engineering decisions
Collaborate with ERP Systems for project tracking and resource management
Manage engineering projects from conception through completion
Apply Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement
Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team
Work on mechanical design and process design for aerospace applications
Oversee CNC machining, welding, and heat treating operations
Incorporate robotics and automation into manufacturing processes
Specialize in gas turbine components, including engine airfoils and airseals

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
Proven experience in aerospace manufacturing processes
Strong skills in tooling design and troubleshooting
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing concepts
Experience with KPI Monitoring and data analysis
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems
Proficiency in ERP Systems
Project Management certification or experience
Six Sigma certification is a plus
Strong understanding of mechanical design and process design
Experience with CNC, welding, and heat treating technologies
Knowledge of robotics applications in manufacturing
Experience with gas turbine and engine components design
