Job Title: Accounting Manager
Job Location: Northbrook, IL
Salary: $70K-$90K+ DOE
Requirements: Accounting/Finance, QuickBooks, Construction (preferred)
- Maintain data entry/record keeping in QuickBooks
- Prepare balance sheets, income statements, shareholder's equity, statement of cash flow, reconciliation, and other financial reports on a monthly basis
- Prepare cost accounting reports on a job by job basis for management review and comment
- Prepare tax and regulatory filings: sales tax, property tax, etc.
- Manage insurance risk
- Prepare, coordinate and manage benefit administration including health, 401k, and other company benefits
- Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred; 3+ years demonstrated experience in Accounting
- QuickBooks experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Background in construction or related field preferred but not required
